Meet the Staff

Meet the teachers and staff that work at our School. Children in Kingfisher and Kestrel class have worked on portraits of the staff in the style of Andy Warhol.

We’ve talked about the things they do and what we like about them.

Headteacher - Mrs Nickels

She is really nice and helpful. She teaches Kestrel Class. She is good at teaching music and she plays the piano and guitar brilliantly and we love listening to her. She gives us certificates in assembly because we work hard She’s a super head teacher!

Administrator - Mrs Gant

We like Mrs Gant she is kind and helps us when we hurt ourselves. She makes us laugh and is very funny. She works hard in the office and makes lots of phone calls.

Teachers

Mrs Hawkins

She is cheerful and smiles a lot. She teaches Wren Class and looks after all the little children. She teaches us and helps us learn hard things like 100+100. She is lovely and kind to all of us, she is a great teacher!

Mrs Jolley

Mrs Jolley teaches Kingfisher Class. She is very good at art and P.E. She is very polite and kind. She takes us to cross country and helps the school council.
 She is my favourite teacher she is the best teacher in the world! She sorts me out when I fall out with my friends.

Mrs Galling

She is very kind and polite, she teaches Kestrel Class. She helps children learn really hard sums. She reads funny stories in assembly. She helps us with school council. She’s one of the best teachers in the universe … well she’s on my top list!

Mrs Bartlett

Mrs Bartlett is kind and helpful she teaches us science and she knows things that we’ve never heard of. She does really funny drawings that help us understand.

Mrs Blackmore

Mrs Blackmore helps Wren class with their work. She is very good at painting pictures and she plays with us in the house corner. She reads us lovely stories.

Mrs Prettejohn

She helps the children in Wren and Kingfisher class with their work. She goes on school trips with us and to Pixie’s Holt. She is very funny and kind she plays games with us. She draws pictures on the chalk board with the little ones at playtime. She is good fun!

Mrs Weston

Mrs Weston helps all of us. She is good at helping us with our reading and spelling. She helps us stay safe in the playground which keeps her very busy at playtime. She lets us ring the bell at the end of play.

Mrs Marshall

Mrs Marshall Looks after us when we have our lunch and while we play outside. She helps us if we fall over and if we fall out with our friends. She sometimes comes on school trips with us.

Mrs Pearce

Mrs Pearce teaches us sometimes when Mrs Hawkins or Mrs Jolley isn’t here. She lets us play special maths games when we finish our work. She teaches us the recorder and she is really good at playing it, she is very musical!

Non-Teachers

Caroline

Caroline is our school cook. She remembers our names and always smiles. She’s really good at cooking especially puddings, we love her rice pudding and biscuits. Her roast dinners are fantastic and delicious!

Louise

Louise works in the kitchen and she serves us our puddings. Louise makes us ice cream and jelly, which is always lovely and tasty!
