Important note 22 April 2016: We have had several children off school this week displaying very high temperatures and then a sore throat. In some instances tonsillitis has been diagnosed by their doctor. We have asked for advice and have been told that if your child is well enough to come to school that is fine but they should cough or sneeze into a tissue which should be immediately put in the bin. Hands should be washed regularly. This will be encouraged by all staff in school and the same actions should be carried out at home. If your child is not well enough to be in school please keep them at home until they are feeling better. If you have any queries please speak to Mrs Kennell.
21st March 2016 - There has been publicity over the weekend regarding the increase in cases of Scarlet Fever. For further information please see http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Scarlet-fever/Pages/Introduction.aspx
If you think that your child has this condition please seek medical advice and keep them off school for at least 24 hours after treatment is started as they could still be contagious.
